The Founder
Chris Fayer is the founder and visionary behind Skala Equity and Skala Development. A developer, licensed architect, general contractor, and acquisition specialist, she brings over 20 years of experience in Class A commercial and residential real estate development, nationally and internationally. Her career has been shaped by uncovering opportunities, challenging conventional approaches, and identifying strategies that unlock value within an increasingly complex real estate environment.
Rooted in the belief that real estate can do more, Chris founded Skala to bring these strategies together in a new multifamily model. Through thoughtful architecture, innovative ownership structures, and disciplined investment, her vision is to create greater agency, financial independence, architectural beauty, and lasting resilience for investors, buyers, and the city alike.
